A really quiet page, but I'm too pleased with the third panel not to post it.

It's a nightime piece so I had to lean heavily on the colorist to make it work.

This is one of my Pencil and Ink in one sitting pages. So given that fact, I'm pretty proud of it. I wish all books took place in the desert... =)

Two mice . . . three. . . a bevy of 'em: the others are to the left of the big one; they're emerging from the shadows. . . . It's like he has psychoplastic ability, like Jack, in my short story (The Dark Side, which no one has read)-- and his unconscious mind is generating rats and making them exude his body. . . or am I reading too much into this?
