"Please check out Spacefriend-KRUNK" my wife says "The Cape is amazing and so is all his other work" my wife says. . . I turn to a gallery and see this. . . I now believe I will never fly for fear of this being one of your super powers >.> Hype work
not at this point anymore. i just pretty much do my own thing at this point. i'll use myself or my wife as a model if i need anything that looks natural or has extreme angles, but mostly i just come up with whatever you see.
that depends on what type of colorist you want to be. i'd like to see some atmospheric perspective happening. however, i'm very painterly how i approach colors. try some minor color hold and maybe some radial darkening on the piece. think layers! however, your work is well on it's way to being solid! so don't take my criticism too hard.
And still readable. My influences are artists more on the extreme which has helped me loosen up through the years. If something is slick it has to be amazing otherwise I find it uninteresting without some texture or organic feel.
Gah! As they´re shooting the new "Akira" movie soon, and it will take place during modern days, I can CLEARLY see a fictional scene with Tetsuo flying in the skies (because of the cape and the fuzzy hair) headed towards that airplane. Maybe Mistress Miyako is in there! Oh noez! XD
HAhah, anyways! Wonderfull drawing, inking and technique.
